With social networking fostering a whole new level of listener involvement, multi-platinum artist Martina McBride is finding myriad ways to engage her sizable and dedicated fan base. While the singer is the first to admit that the life of a superstar isn’t always glamorous, that hasn’t stopped her from taking her fans “into the action,” whether it be to a monthly marketing meeting, a behind-the-scenes look at her latest video shoot, or backstage access on the Shine All Night tour. McBride makes of point of encouraging fans to get involved, whether it be via Twitter, MySpace or other online outlets.

I figured I'd make a post about our new office, since I havent seen one yet. So we opened the ground(ctrl) Beverly Hills office about a month ago and let me tell you- it is AWESOME! It is even more awesome today because Michael just installed a ceiling-mounted speaker system that is hooked up to our iTunes libraries. Oh, technology. I am amazed. We have been cranking the tunes all day- Royksopp, Enon, Royal Bangs, Neon Indian, and now Girls. Sorry Sacramento GC folk, no Die Antwoord at this office. Yet. Besides listening to music, we are hard at work for our clients and enjoying our awesome brand new office in the California sunshine.
I also had the pleasure of visiting the Sacramento office this week for a couple of days to check out the new renovations and hang with the crew. The office is SO AWESOME now, seriously good vibe. They knocked down the middle walls and it's just much, much better. Nice work, guys. I miss it already!

in 1989, while working as an A&R rep for Champion Records, Paul Oakenfold decided to create a new label that would house the up-and-coming artists involved on the emerging Balearlc and House scene. Since that day, Perfecto Records has been home to some of the biggest names in dance music, and continues to release the best of melodic, electronic music. In 2008, Perfecto Digital was launched, and later that year, Perfecto Black was born, which focuses on tech-house, electro and techno - a different sound from that traditionally associated with Perfecto.
The Devil Wears Prada has recently been nominated for best live band of 2010 presented at the Golden Gods Awards Thursday April 8th at Club Nokia in Los Angeles California where they will also be performing. The Devil Wears Prada Is currently killing it on tour with KillSwitch Engage In what is easily an early contender for the heaviest tour of 2010.
